GJC Technical currently has at its disposal:

• peer-peer network using TCP/IP over 10-base-T (Cat 5)
• five desktop and two laptop computers running a mix of Windows and Linux
• CD-rewriter and ZIP drive
• 20GB Seagate STT20000N tape backup unit
• HP LaserJet 6P, HP LaserJet 4L, Epson Stylus Photo 700, Cannon BJC85 printers
• Epson Perfection 610 scanner
• Megapixel (1152 x 864) digital camera, with USB card reader for rapid camera to computer image transfer

One desktop computer and one laptop computer are available for "experimental" use. For example, they can allow the running of pre-release software without endangering production computers.

A purpose-fitted van serves as a mobile office. Its 12v DC and 230v AC power can run two laptop computers, a printer, and lighting for a full working day, letting us make the most of visits to remote sites.
